Catterick Golf Club has extensive practice facilities on offer to members and visitors

Putting Green adjacent to Clubhouse.
Pitching Area to single green with practice bunker (up to 100 yards) adjacent to main car park.
Practice Ground with six covered bays from mats for up to long irons (200 yards) two minute walk from clubhouse. .
Short Chipping Area (20 yards) adjacent to professional’s shop.
Driving Net between Professional’s Shop and 1st tee.

MAIN PRACTICE AREA The main practice area is suitable for irons and shorter woods up to 200 yards with 6 covered bays playing off mats or uncovered areas playing off grass. PITCHING AREA The chipping practice ground is suitable for wedges up to a distance of 150 yards with a green to aim at along with a ditch and bunker to be to be avoided.
PUTTING GREEN The putting green is located next to the club house and is akin to the actual greens on the course with its subtle slopes and curving lines. DRIVING PRACTICE NET The practice net is between the professionals shop and first tee and is a useful stop before starting your game.
SHORT CHIPPING AREA The short chipping area is located outside the Professional's shop and is a great opportunity to practice your short chipping (<20 yards) before commencing your round.
