Practice Facilities

Catterick Golf Club is pleased to offer the following practice facilities to members and visitors:

Putting Green. Adjacent to Clubhouse.

Chipping area to single green with practice bunker (up to 100 yards). Adjacent to main car park.

Six bay covered practice ground from mats for up to long irons (200 yards). Two minute walk from clubhouse. .

Short chipping area (20 yards). Adjacent to professional’s shop.

Driving net. Between Professional’s Shop and 1st tee.

PRATICE AREAS

Please remember to use and collect your own balls unless advised otherwise by the professional

MAIN PRACTICE AREA The main practice area is suitable for irons and shorter woods up to 200 yards with 6 covered bays playing off mats or uncovered areas playing off grass.CHIPPING AREA The chipping practice ground is suitable for wedges up to a distance of 150 yards with a green to aim at along with a ditch and bunker to be to be avoided.
PUTTING GREEN The putting green is located next to the club house and is akin to the actual greens on the course with its subtle slopes and curving lines.DRIVING PRACTICE NET The practice net is between the professionals shop and first tee and is a useful stop before starting your game.
